Hake is a high-quality, sweet-tasting white fish with firm flakes, making it an excellent, home-grown alternative to imported cod.
Our hake is harvested from the certified hake fishery in Cornwall. The fish is caught using large gillnets, which have a lower impact on the seabed and use larger mesh sizes, allowing juvenile fish to swim away freely and ensuring the Cornish hake population’s continued growth.
