Poons X Sea Sisters Two Pack of British Conservas
Our Cockles were originally launched for International Women's Day in March 2025 and have been loved so much that we have continued to produce them. Poons Extraordinary chilli oil is so delicious we have been keen to add the oil to another species from our range and are pleased to launch a second conservas of Norfolk Whelks with Poons Extraordinary chilli oil.
Our Cockles are hand gathered with rake and riddle by local fisherman in Penclawdd and paired with Poon's Extraordinary Chilli Oil. The chilli oil is aromatic with the intense flavours of salted black beans and works perfectly with the sweet, tender cockles.
Our Whelks are are pot caught in Norfolk, with 95% of local whelks being exported to countries like Holland and Korea, we believe it's time for the British people to eat more of these delicious delicacy.
Chinese food is one of my favourite cuisines and we are so honoured to be collaborating on this conservas with Amy Poon who revived her family name and gave us a range of award winning sauces to enjoy.
